A SKU identifies the selected product configuration. List models, sizes, colors and artwork versions separately and have the quotation identify which combinations form distinct SKUs. An assortment photograph does not establish that all pictured variations count as one SKU.

MOQ and price answer different questions
MOQ tells you the minimum quantity for the selected configuration. Price tells you what that configuration costs at the quoted quantity. Neither establishes a guaranteed discount curve. A larger order can spread a fixed setup charge across more units, but material, decoration, packaging and freight also affect the result.
Request separate lines for product quantity and unit price, artwork or setup charges, tooling where applicable, samples, packing, inspection requirements and freight. Specify currency and delivery terms. Tooling ownership, artwork-file delivery and repeat-order setup charges should be written into the quotation; paying a fee alone should not be treated as an ownership agreement.

A useful calculation is: product subtotal + agreed setup/sample charges + packaging + agreed freight and other applicable costs. Divide only costs covering the same scope by the same number of sellable units. Customs duties or taxes depend on destination and transaction terms; obtain them for the actual shipment rather than applying a universal percentage.
Reduce complexity before adding inventory
To simplify a first order, choose fewer SKUs, one approved logo layout and a clear packing format. Use an existing standard configuration where it meets the requirement. These choices can reduce specification and setup complexity, but they do not waive the confirmed minimum. Do not buy excess inventory solely because a unit price looks lower.
When a project is below the minimum, ask what existing configuration can be quoted and state the required quantity honestly. A quotation must expressly confirm any project-specific arrangement. Do not assume that combining unrelated products or offering a higher unit price automatically changes PASSEN’s policy.
Plan samples, production and delivery separately
Provide the destination and required arrival date, then confirm specification review, artwork, sample approval, production readiness and freight milestones. A desired event date is a planning input, not an accepted production promise. Keep the approved specification and packing brief with the purchase order for any later reorder.
