A marker shown beside a tool is not automatically included. If a removable marker must fit a recess or magnetic holder, approve the assembled pair. Matching diameter alone does not establish thickness, retention or easy removal.

Review the tool in its open and closed positions and confirm the supplied operating instructions.
Artwork and finish
Inspect lettering at actual size, visible borders and the selected finish against the approved proof.
Prepare the artwork for its actual surface
Supply a vector logo where available, with the required colors and intended design size. A marker face, a curved tool body and a backing card need separate layout approval. Keep fine lettering and narrow gaps large enough to reproduce clearly; review the finished sample rather than relying only on an enlarged digital proof.
Specify the shape, metal finish and color treatment separately. Our finish options and existing price ranges are shown below. Confirm which configuration and quantity tier apply to your quote: standard quantities do not change the 500-unit minimum for logo, color or packaging customization.
Plan tournament, club-shop and member orders
For a tournament, allocate the same approved component list to each player pack and identify any distinct sponsor or member version. For club-shop presentation, check the visible logo, barcode position and pack count. For member gifts, compare the marker finish with the matching tool and presentation material before final approval.
Keep quantities per SKU explicit. Standard orders start at 200 units per SKU, with sets counted as sets; customization starts at 500 units or sets. Different SKUs do not combine to meet the minimum. Provide the delivery destination and required arrival date so the standard or rush schedule can be matched to the order.

1. What is the difference between soft enamel and hard enamel markers?
Soft enamel has recessed color areas with raised metal borders – you can feel the texture, making it more affordable and faster to produce. Hard enamel is polished completely flat and smooth, giving a jewelry-like finish that is more durable and scratch-resistant but costs 25-40% more. For tournament giveaways, soft enamel offers great value. For premium member gifts or luxury brands, hard enamel delivers a higher perceived quality.
2. Can you produce custom shapes beyond standard circles?
Yes. While standard sizes are 25mm, 32mm, and 38mm diameter circles, we can produce virtually any custom shape – your logo silhouette, a golf tee shape, a club head outline, or even a state/country outline for regional events. Custom shapes require a new mold ($60-120 one-time fee, waived for orders over 500 units). Send us your vector artwork and we will confirm feasibility within 24 hours.
3. What attachment options do you offer for ball markers?
We offer magnetic hat clip attachments (most popular – snaps onto cap brim), pin-back with butterfly clutch (classic enamel pin style), and standalone markers (no attachment, for use with divot tools with magnetic holders). You can mix attachment types within the same design. Many tournament orders include 50% magnetic clips for players and 50% pin-back for sponsors and volunteers.
4. What is the minimum order for custom ball markers?
Standard MOQ is 200 units per SKU. Logo, color or packaging customization starts from 500 units. Set products are ordered from 200 sets per standard SKU, or 500 sets for customization. Quantities from different standard SKUs do not combine to meet the minimum.
5. How durable are the finishes – will they tarnish over time?
All our metal finishes include an anti-tarnish coating as standard. Gold plating uses a nickel underlayer for adhesion and longevity. Antique finishes are chemically aged for a stable patina that will not change further. Hard enamel markers are the most durable (virtually scratch-proof surface). For coastal or humid environments, we recommend die-struck metal or hard enamel with an extra clear coat sealant – available at no additional cost.
6. Can you include custom backing cards or packaging?
Yes. Every marker set can ship with a custom-printed backing card (standard 85x55mm) featuring your logo, event name, or sponsor message. We also offer velvet pouches, acrylic display cases, and gift box packaging. Backing cards are included free for orders over 300 units. Premium packaging options are quoted based on your requirements.
